Welcome Cub Scout Pack 190

Pack 190 wants to continuously share the joy of scouting!

Families with kids who are in Kindergarten thru 5th Grade can participate in pack scouting activities, including camping and meetings.  New families with children in these grades can register NOW to join as a Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos Scout and meet in our den and pack events as shown in the calendar below.

Pack 190 is a very active pack.  Pictures and videos from our latest events are available see at:

At the bottom of this message are some links to files you can download that are both informational fliers and the registration form for new or returning families.  Feel free to fill the registration forms out ahead of time and email them to our membership chair at the email address below.  Be sure to include your scout's shirt size as we provide a T-shirt each year for our scouting participants.  You can also click the “About Us” link on the left side of this page to learn some information on our Pack.

** For 2022, we will be offering free registration for all scouting families.  Our ask is to have each family be involved in fundraising and helping with activities throughout the year.  These are times to make memories with your scouts and we are actively encouraging all pack members to be involved throughout the year.  If you are interested in joining our pack family, please reach out to us. **

Kiwanis Blueberry Assistance on June 30th

Posted on Jun 8 2022 - 12:22pm

The Upper Allen Kiwanis, our Charter Organization, is asking for assistance in loading Blueberries at the Mechanicsburg Museum on June 30th.  For those of you who may not have participated in the blueberry sale, these are some of the best blueberries you can enjoy!  Personally, I always recommend buying a box and volunteering for an hour or two.  These blueberries are huge and go great on ice cream sundaes or those morning pancakes and cereal!  Volunteers are needed between 10 AM - 7 PM.  If you are not going to summer camp and can volunteer some time, please sign up for a 1-hour block, just put your timeslot in the comments.

Spring Blue and Gold Campout!

Posted on Apr 1 2022 - 9:49am

The Spring Blue and Gold banquet is coming on April 22-24th!  Please remember that we are camping out, so we will need tents.  If you do not have a tent, please let your den leader know as the pack has some tents you can borrow for the weekend.  We do ask that all campers have a parent with them.  If that is not possible, you are welcome to attend each day, or if you can make other arrangements with another parent that is acceptable, just please keep your den leader in the loop.

Bowling Adventure

Posted on Mar 6 2022 - 10:37am

It's that moment you've all been waiting for!  That's right, it's the Pack 190 Bowling Extravaganza!  We are planning an outing on Sunday, March 20th at Trindle Bowling.  Guests and siblings are welcome.  We are working on finalizing the start time but we are thinking either 2 PM or 2:30 PM with a potential behind the scenes showing of the bowling alley.  If you are interested in joining us, please sign up on the website.  Our cost is $5 per person who bowls.

Dexterity Depot on Sunday, February 27th!

Posted on Feb 8 2022 - 9:05am

For our winter activity, we will be participating with Dexterity Depot to allow the scouts the ability to be an American Ninja Warrior.  Scouts will have the ability to perform rope swinging, climbing, and more.  If interested, please sign up on our website.  The cost is $5 per scout and guests are welcome.  It's a great event for the whole family!

Pinewood Derby!

Posted on Feb 4 2022 - 9:26pm

The Live Stream will be Broadcast from our Facebook page at:  https://www.facebook.com/Cubscout-Pack-190-Mechanicsburg-PA-174979409990840.  Doors will open at 8:00 AM on Saturday for race day, with the race officially starting at 9:00 AM.   As a reminder, we are asking scouts to only bring one parent to maintain space.  We will race as a pack, so there are not individual race times for each den.  Please make sure to come out and cheer for your racers!  The PWD is a great experience every year and we are looking forward to seeing who are 2022 Champions will be!
