Welcome Cub Scout Pack 190

Pack 190 wants to continuously share the joy of scouting!

Families with kids who are in Kindergarten thru 5th Grade can participate in pack scouting activities, including camping and meetings.  New families with children in these grades can register NOW to join as a Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos Scout and meet in our den and pack events as shown in the calendar below.

Pack 190 is a very active pack and you can see Pictures and Videos from our latest events on Facebook at:

At the bottom of this message are some links to files you can download that are both informational fliers and the registration form for new or returning families.  Feel free to fill the registration forms out ahead of time and email them to our membership chair at the email address below.  Be sure to include your scout's shirt size as we provide a T-shirt each year for our scouting participants.  You can also click the “About Us” link on the left side of this page to learn some information on our Pack.

** For 2021, we will be offering free registration for all scouting families.  Our ask is to have each family be involved in fundraising and helping with activities throughout the year.  These are times to make memories with your scouts and we are actively encouraging all pack members to be involved throughout the year.  If you are interested in joining our pack family, please reach out to us. **

August Picnic and Rocket Launch

Posted on Jul 13 2021 - 1:34pm

August 7 marks the official pack kickoff to the 2021-2022 year!  As always we will be hosting our annual picnic at the New Kingston FireHouse pavilion and having the rocket launch in the field.  We ask all scouts to bring a rocket with the appropriate engines and be ready for blastoff!  Please limit your engine sizes to A and B engines.  We will have a prize raffle for a "special" rocket for each scout that brings a friend to the event.  So please get the word out to bring friends and family members that may be interested in joining scouting.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your den leader, cubmaster or committee member for more information

This coming Saturday the 17th the pack will be hosting our Fuller Lake picnic from 9:30 – 2:30.  We have reserved the Brickyard Pavilion for the day and will be meeting there to head out to our activities.  Families are asked to register on the Cub Pack webpage.  For those who wish to attend but may not yet have access to the web page please email me at benidpa@gmail.com so we can include you in our final count.  We will be offering several activities throughout the day to include hiking, fishing, swimming, museum tour, and field games. Scouts will be able to choose the activities they wish to participate in during the course of the picnic. We will have several extra fishing rods available for scouts to borrow if they don’t have one.   The Pack will be providing Hotdogs and Hamburgers for lunch and an Ice Cream bar to end the day. We ask families attending to bring a side to share with the rest of the Pack.

Kiwanis Blueberry Sale on July 6th - Volunteers Needed!

Posted on Jun 14 2021 - 7:07pm

The Upper Allen Kiwanis, our Charter Organization, is asking for assistance in loading Blueberries at the Mechanicsburg Museum on July 6th.  For those of you who may not have participated in the blueberry sale, these are some of the best blueberries you can enjoy!  Personally, I always recommend buying a box and volunteering for an hour or two.  These blueberries are huge and go great on ice cream sundaes or those morning pancakes and cereal!  Volunteers are needed between 9 AM - 1 PM and 3 PM - 7 PM.  If you can volunteer some time, please sign up for a 1-hour block, just put your timeslot in the comments.
